Bali Bird Park is a one of a kind recrational and educational attraction that fits the whole family. The park is located in Batubulan Village, Gianyar Regency. In a land of 2 hectares, the park is designed as tropical garden and become the home for 250 bird species with total 1000 birds. The park is divided into some regions to resemble the natural habitats of the birds such as birds from Australia, South Africa, and Latin America. In some extend, the park is more than just a recreational spot, but it serves as safe place for numbers of endangered and rare birds.
There are numerous birds than can be found around the park ground for individual enclosures. Some of them dwell and roam freely on tree perches and pond. In addition to activity, there are scheduled informative shows and feeding time where tourists can get closer to the birds. The famous bird show is the free flight bird show which performs the abilities and antics of birds and other collection winged creature. Owls, macaws, and eagles soar into the sky before catch their prey or snatch food from keepers as part of the bird show. During interactive bird feeding time, tourists can actively participate to indulge in daily feeding schedule of the birds. There are numbers of birds are fed around the tourists and some flycatcher birds show off aerobatics ability during feeding time.
To get more information about birds, there is also 4D Avian Theatre which is an exciting facility for families. The theatre shows bird-related animation films ‘Rilly’s Sky Adventure’. In addition to the main theme of the park, there is also Reptile Park which offers wide collections of amphibians and reptile such as geckos, lizards, toads, pythons, tortoises, and more. The Bali Bird Park is the perfect holiday destinations for families especially those with children to get closer to birds and reptiles as well as educate tourists to feed and care about the birds.

Great trip with beautiful highlights from Ubud and Tanah Lot. Yogik was excellent in telling all the stories a d was very patient even when the traffic was bad during our trip back to the hotel. Definitely not the last trip with Yogik.
